Belgium Broskis Jan Vertonghen & Dries Mertens Go Crowdsurfing At Tomorrowland EDM Festival (Video)

By Chris Wright

Fittingly taking place in the Belgian town of Boom every summer since 2005, the Tomorrowland festival is pretty much the armpit of the truly vacuous European dance music scene, with thousands of pisshole-eyed, sweaty-vested, cheek-chewing day-glo ravers swarming to rural Flanders to mindlessly womp and woop the weekend away.

Call us old fashioned, but f**k that.

Anyway, Jan Vertonghen and Dries Mertens went this year, and the Belgian international duo even had a go at crowdsurfing – as captured by some intrepid fellow within said crowd…

At least they’re enjoying themselves, right?

As a DJ I really despise that term “EDM”.

There’s House, Techno, Trance etc. Why stuff them all in as “Electronic Dance Music”?

What does that even mean? Is there Acoustic Dance Music, where ravers go mental to a bit of Folk?

I saw Toby Alderweield was floating around too with his missus.
