Hull City 1-2 Tottenham Hotspur – Premier League – 23rd November 2014

A last-gasp Christian Eriksen goal gave Spurs a hard-fought win away against 10-man Hull on Saturday.

Former-Tottenham man Jake Livermore opened the scoring for the hosts on eight minutes but the sending off of Gaston Ramirez (for a kick at Jan Vertonghen) just after half-time made life considerably for the Tigers. They worked hard to stay in the game, but goals from Harry Kane and then, at the death, Eriksen meant Steve Bruce’s side would, rather undeservedly, finish the game empty-handed.

Spurs go 10th while Hull drop to 16th.

Teams are gonna have to start fielding 12 players against Spurs, so that when one of theirs inevitably gets sent off, Spurs won’t have it so easy. Yet again.

Yet another dismal, lack-lustre, pitiful display by a Spurs side who look like they would rather be on a beach somewhere. They were incredibly lucky to get anything at all out of this game let alone 3 points. After watching my beloved Spurs play such bad football on a regular basis this season I can only assume that for some reason the players are just not happy with Potechino. Something has gone very badly wrong and I cannot see it changing with these players. If I had the choice I would drop pretty much every one of those that played on Sunday and play the youth team. They certainly couldn’t play any worse and I would hope that they at least would put some effort in.

@Sfer: I second everything you just said but replace Spurs with Liverpool
