Rumour Balls: Roberto Carlos set for shock return to Real Madrid?

Marca, Real Madrid’s media mouthpiece, is foaming at the mouth at the prospect of legendary Brazilian full-back Roberto Carlos returning to play for Real again.
Carlos is set to play his last game for Fenerbahce in the Europa League on Thursday, and has admitted he’d love to return to the Bernabeu for a second spell, to help cover for the injured Pepe, who is out for up to six months with cruciate ligament damage.
“If Real come for me, I will go immediately,” the Brazilian said.
Seems like a classic “come and get me” plea from the player. Wonder if Real will bite? Carlos is 36 now and has lost a lot of his zip, but he’s still a class act and loved utterly by Madrid’s fans.
