Is the Premier League now officially the best in the world?

6th, March 2008

We already knew it was the richest and our attacking brand of football makes it the most exciting but, with the possibility of four English teams in the quarter-finals of the Champions League – can the Premier League now officially claim to be the best in the world?
Italy’s Serie A was once considered at the crown of the European game but corruption, scandal and crowd violence have faded its reputation. And Arsenal’s emphatic win over AC Milan proves that English teams have more talent.
Spain’s La Liga claims to be more technically proficient and still attracts some of the world’s best players but it tends to depend on the reputations of either Barcelona or Real Madrid – and only Barca have made it to the Champions League quarter finals this season.
We think that as the Premier League plays the most competitive football while attracting the best young players in the world and largest audiences through its financial and marketing muscle – it must be the best league in the world.
Let us know if you agree or disagree.
