Having already scored, Jermain Defoe was keen to double his tally against New York Red Bulls when Toronto won a free-kick some 25-yards from goal.
Alas, Defoe’s Toronto team-mate Gilberto also fancied his chances and the pair set about squabbling like a pair of kids in the playground over who was going to take the kick.
Eventually, Gilberto won out and the Brazilian’s bolshy strop was immediately vindicated when this happened…
