Sourced by Spanish site Cuatro, video has emerged of Pepe spitting on Seydou Keita as alleged before Monday night’s ill-tempered friendly between AS Roma and Real Madrid.
It’s all a bit grainy as the footage has been ripped several times to get it up on Youtube, but you can still clearly see Pepe at least motioning to gob on the man he called a “monkey” back in 2011…
GIF version…
Speaking to MARCA after refusing to shake Pepe’s hand before the friendly in Texas, Keita explained that he had no intention of shaking the hand of a man who obviously doesn’t see him as a human being.
“Back when I played for Barça he called me a macaque, i.e. a monkey. From that moment onwards, I’ve seen him as a good-for-nothing,” vented Keita.
“I haven’t spoken about it in public before because it wasn’t worth it, but that’s why I didn’t want to shake his hand”.
The former Barcelona midfielder continued:
“It’s unacceptable for someone to spit at me. I really don’t see why I should have to shake his hand, since in his eyes I’m not a human being”
“I have no interest in discussing things with a person who doesn’t consider me a human being. The way he behaves is out of order.
Instead of coming over and asking me why I didn’t shake his hand, he chose to spit at me.”
Quite.
We’re all for a bit of pantomime villainy when it comes to football, but Pepe is far beyond that. He’s insidious, toxic and, frankly, disgusting.
What a weeping, festering, pus-dribbling herpes sore of a human being he truly is.
