Despite the best efforts of Sergio ‘Trophy Killer’ Ramos to completely write it off under the wheels of a bus, Real Madrid finally got around to presenting the Copa Del Rey at Madrid’s City Hall yesterday.
Somewhat foolishly, the club’s top brass allowed Ramos to do the honours again, though they did seem to have one stipulation in place to ensure that the cup didn’t end the day as a pile of scrap metal and splintered pinewood again – that ‘keeper Iker Casillas was to remain within 30cm of the fumbling right-back at all times, just in case…
