High-end champagne brand Taittinger have confirmed they have signed a commercial partnership deal with FIFA that will see them provide the official champagne for the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
“Champagne Taittinger will manifest its presence at the 2014 FIFA World Cup in the months to come through various initiatives with the help of its 150 distributors around the world,” chirruped the bubblymongers, via their website, meaning that Taittinger is to be swilled by FIFA execs at every World Cup-related gala and soiree between now and the end of 2015.
See Brazil, Sepp and Co. really do care. You can all stop protesting now.
