South Korea 2-4 Algeria – World Cup Group H – 22nd June 2014
These two sides produced an absolute cracker on Sunday evening, with Algeria ultimately taking all three points after a superb attacking performance.
In the first period, the Koreans were dismal and the sharp, quick thinking Algerians over-ran their Asian opponents time and time again, with goals from Islam Slimani, Rafick Halliche and Abdelmoumene Djabou putting the Fennec Foxes 3-0 at the break.
South Korea improved after the break, getting a couple of goals on the board but Algeria netted again (courtesy of a superb solo goal finished off by Yacine Brahimi) to secure a deserved 4-2 win which puts them second in Group H.
