After teasing it all week, Tottenham have officially unveiled their new 2015/16 home strip on Facebook this morning.
It’s a tried and true template, white/navy/white, but with the addition of what they are calling a “heritage sash”.
We’ll freely admit at this juncture that we have no idea what a heritage sash is, but that doesn’t mean we don’t like it.
As everyone knows, all the coolest teams have sashes…
According to Spurs themselves, the six stripes that form the sash are “inspired by the design of the emblem below the golden cockerel on top of White Hart Lane”. So there.
That ‘keeper kit looks pretty natty on Hugo Lloris too. We’re guessing Spurs fans are hoping he sticks around to actually wear it next season.
More photos…
Since images leaked earlier in the week the kit has been attracting some fairly negative reactions from the Tottenham faithful, but it’s a bit of a Bobby Dazzler if you ask us.
What’s the verdict, Pies fans? Yay or nay?
