Robert Lewandowski, not for the first time, came to the rescue of Bayern Munich on Friday night, netting an utterly stupendous last-gasp winner against Freiburg.
The game in Freiburg was headed towards a 1-1 draw, courtesy of first-half goals from Janik Haberer for the hosts and Lewandowski himself.
However, at the death, the Polish hitman produced an exquisite moment of brilliance, chesting a cross down in a tight space, before controlling the ball with his foot and then somehow directing it into the far corner of the net.
Magnificent…
What a strike from a genuinely world-class player.
The win saw Bayern go six points clear of RB Leipzig at the top of the Bundesliga table.
