Turf Moor has been something of a fortress this season for Burnley.
However, on Saturday the Premier League side found themselves on the wrong end of the mother of all shocks, with non-league Lincoln City producing an incredible 1-0 win.
Lincoln matched their top-flight opponents throughout a scrappy 90 minutes, with very few genuine chances created by either side.
Once again, Joey Barton showed his true colours, getting involved in a number of scuffles and finding himself fortunate not to get sent off after bashing Terry Hawkridge in the face.

In the latter incident, Barton’s teammate (and Liverpool loanee) Jon Flanagan was lucky not to see red himself for shoving Hawkridge to the ground.
As per usual, Barton also let himself down trying to get Matthew Rhead sent off – feigning an elbow after meandering forehead-first into the Lincoln man’s outstretched arm…

However, in the end, any sense of injustice harboured by the Imps evaporated when Sean Raggett headed past Tom Heaton after an injury-time corner, with the ball just about crossing the line.
The Clarets pushed for a last-gasp equaliser, but in the end Lincoln held on to secure a truly historic result.
Indeed, Danny Cowley’s Imps are now the first first to reach the quarter-finals of the FA Cup in 103 years.
What an incredible result and one which will go down in history as one of the great cup upsets!
No doubt Arsene Wenger and his Arsenal side, who face non-league Sutton United on Monday, will have watched this amazing game very, very closely.
