Manchester United lost for the first time in the Premier League this season after a disappointing display away to Huddersfield.
Huddersfield were lively from the start but it was sloppy play from the Red Devils which lead to the opener on 28 minutes.
Juan Mata was the culprit for the visitors, giving the ball away to the excellent Aaron Mooy, who fed Tom Ince.
When Ince’s shot was saved by David De Dea, Mooy was there to fire home from the rebound.
Just five minutes later things got even worse for United, with sub Victor Lindelof (on for the inured Phil Jones), misjudged a punt from ‘keeper Jonas Lossi, which allowed Laurent Depoitre to make it 2-0.
Jose Mourinho’s side were sub-par through the game, but they did themselves back into the game late on, with sub Marcus Rashford heading home a delicious cross from Romelu Lukaku.
However, despite a nervy ending, the Terriers held on to register their first win over United in 65 years.
David Wagner’s side go 11th, while United now find themselves five points behind leaders Man City.
