Neymar scored two stunning free-kicks as the Brazilian netted a hat-trick in PSG’s thrashing of Red Star Belgrade in Paris.
The hosts outclassed Red Star throughout the encounter and opened the scoring on 20 minutes, via a fabulous Neymar free-kick.
Just two minutes later, the Ligue 1 champions doubled their advantage with Neymar again finding the back of the net, this time after neat interplay with Kylian Mbappe.
A rampant PSG would add two more before the break, with Edinson Cavani’s effort deflecting past Milan Borjan in the Belgrade goal.
Angel Di Maria’s deft touch after a glorious outside-of-the-foot assist from Thomas Meunier then made it 4-0 before half-time.
The visitors improved after the break, and it took until the 70th minute for PSG to score again, this time courtesy of Mbappe, who finished off a superb move involving Neymar and Juan Bernat.
Belgrade did bag themselves a consolation goal on 74 minutes, courtesy of ex-Chelsea attacker Marko Marin.
The hosts would make it 6-1 before the end, with the outstanding Neymar netting another magnificent long-range free-kick.
The Parisians were well worth the 6-1 victory which sees them pick up their first points of this season’s Champions League campaign following their match day one defeat at the hands of Liverpool.
As for Red Star, they won’t face a tougher game this season.
