Sheffield United to set up partnership with Sao Paulo

BanescudospfcSheffield United are hoping to tie up the craziest Yorkshire-Brazilian partnership since Roque Junior pulled on a Leeds United shirt. The Blades are set to start talks with Sao Paulo over a deal which would see the finest up and coming Brazilian youngsters join them for experience.

Director Simon McCabe said: "They’re keen to have an affiliation with a Premiership club. Sao Paulo produce some of the best players in the world, Kaka, Cafu and Denilson have all come from there. These talks are exclusive, they aren’t speaking to anyone else." [Via BBC]

    The LA Galaxy have a partnership with SPFC too. Basically they loan us a reserve player, and if we like him, they try to sell him to us for way more than what he’s worth.
