La Liga Lunes – Real beat Atletico in Madrid derby

Champions Real Madrid triumphed 0-2 at city rivals Atletico to maintain a seven-point lead at the top of La Liga. Raul side-footed Real into the lead just 32 seconds into the match. Ruud van Nistelrooy added a second shortly before half-time to secure the win.
Barcelona also won, with Thierry Henry providing a 1-0 victory over Racing Santander. Third-placed Villarreal picked up a 3-0 win in their derby match against Valencia.

And Real Valladolid’s Llorente grabbed what is thought to be the quickest goal in La Liga history when he netted after seven seconds against Espanyol.
