Just think, we would not have been treated to this gem of the vernacular in a full stadium – unless you’re a professional lip reader, that is. This is why you don’t watch these Restart matches on TV with fake crowd noise (who does that?).
It’s an insight into the life of a football official. You get constant abuse from all angles. If it’s not the fans, it’s the players. If it’s not the players, it’s the coaching staff. If it’s not the coaching staff, it’s, er… the stewards? You get the idea.
