TOTTENHAM chairman Daniel Levy is currently in talks with AC Milan over taking Klaas-Jan Huntelaar on a season-long loan. The deal is thought to include a ‘first refusal’ option once the loan expires, with a £12 million fee being mooted.
The Rossoneri are thought to be keen to flog Huntelaar, who has failed to impress during his year in Italy, with an eye on freeing up room in their squad for a ‘mega-signing’ – i.e. Barcelona striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
Should the Dutch international decide to make the switch to White Hart Lane, his arrival is sure to signal the loan departure of either Robbie Keane (with Newcastle and West Ham said to be sniffing around) or Roman Pavlyuchenko (Liverpool are being touted as potential suitors).
