Bizarre scenes in the Turkish top-flight at the weekend saw Florentin Pogba at the centre of a bust-up involving his Genclerbirligi team-mates.
The 27-year-old midfielder, brother of Paul, left the pitch injured in the 88th minute of a clash with Antalyaspor, with Genclerbirligi 1-0 down.
However, with all three subs already used, Pogba’s decision to amble off the pitch without instruction from his manager annoyed his team-mates, who weren’t too pleased about playing the final few minutes with 10 men.
A confrontation then took place, with Pogba, who had taken off his shirt at this stage, at the centre of it all.
Players and coaching staff were all involved, with the former Saint-Etienne player appearing to lash out at one of the coaches…
After everything had settled down, the game resumed, with relegation-threatened Genclerbirligi losing 1-0, a result which leaves them second from bottom and five points from safety, with just two games to play.
No wonder his team-mates were irritated.
Although not sure what the crocked player could’ve done if he’d stayed on the pitch.
