Diego Simeone’s Atletico Madrid side produced yet another superb performance to knock La Liga giants Barcelona out of the Champions league.

Playmaker Koke was goal-hero for the Madrid side who also hit the woodwork three times early on as they stunned their more illustrious fellow countrymen. After the break, Barca pushed for a goal, with Neymar going close late on but overall the La Liga leaders were well worht their semi-final berth. Exciting times for Simeone and co., with a league and Champions League double now a distinct possibility.

Atletico what a TEAM. This is the first time since Liverpool in ’05 that I saw a real team with eleven players who fought for eachother. Great performance, I even got a little sympathy for that prick Simeone.
