The executive director of Dynamo Kiev’s Olympic Stadium has gone on record as saying that segregated stands for black fans may be a “good idea” in the wake of Eastern European football’s latest shameful dalliance with racist abuse.

The problem came to the fore once again last week when damning footage circulated of four black fans being attacked in the terraces during Kiev’s 0-0 draw against Chelsea in the Champions League.

Now, in his tireless quest to rid the NSC Olimpiyskiy of such disgraceful scenes, executive Volodimir Spilchenko believes he’s come up with the solution.

“We are trying, maybe, to make a special sector [for black fans] in order to avoid the manifestation of racism,” Spilchenko is quoted as saying in an interview by the Washington Post.

Gob-smacking, isn’t it? You really couldn’t make it up.

Referring to the aforementioned black fans specifically, Spilchenko explained that his administration attempted to make amends on the night but saw their apologetic gestures snubbed.

“Representatives of the stadium administration came to these guys and offered them to change seats, even to more expensive ones, but our proposition was ignored,” he added.

May we politely suggest that a more effective plan might be to segregate Dynamo Kiev from the rest of European football?

The world cup is going to be great fun…

All Russian teams should be removed from european football, there is absolutely no excuse for this behavior, what makes it so troubling is that it there is overt bigotry embedded in these clubs from the top down.

    • greg says:

      Kiev isn’t in Russia….

    • dickfromage says:

Lol you sad little git. Russians have more right to European football than than black people have the right to live here.
They are nothing but immigrants to a society that’s been white for thousands of years.
So STFU and let the blacks defend themselves, they don’t need some pasty white cunt that doesn’t even know that Kiev is not in Russia, defend their rights with his keyboard.

    @Teddy Ballgame
I agree with your sentiment, but nonetheless wish to point out that Kiev is in Ukraine, not Russia.

  3. EDub says:

LOL … UEFA should get on this as soon as they sort out that whole ‘ManC booing the Champion’s League’ issue.

    • Jarren says:

I was just about to say the same thing.

Some fans boo the CL anthem: HELLFIRE & BRIMSTONE

Continued & prolonged racism: Hmm, oh… er… sorry, what?

“All Russian teams should be removed from european football”
With that logic there would be no European countries left to compete in European or global competitions. Italy, Croatia, Serbia, BiH, Czech Rep, Slovakia, Sweden, Austria, Spain, England, Ireland etc would also be removed from European football.

  5. Oktoberfest says:

That must be coming from clubs that cannot control the behaviour of their fans. In fact, they’re endorsing it. Ban the club from competition since there is no place for racism here … it’s that simple.

  6. Darren says:

Surely segregation would be a massive step backwards. Black fans should be able to enjoy football from wherever they want and not have to worry about the ignorant bunch (unfortunately it doesnt seem that much of a minority) of fans that are abusing them. It is those racists that should be segregated from the crowd to say under a bus!?

It’s sad that people are so self-righteous about this. Recall that Jeremy Corbyn recently floated an analogous idea proposing segregated train carriages for women in the UK. That said, while I don’t doubt the good intentions of Dynamo Kiev’s executive board (or Jeremy Corbyn for that matter), segregation is not going to solve anything.

  9. dickfromage says:

Really tired of you english cunts acting all holier than thou and getting offended in the name of some random blacks, when in fact, you’re the most racist ones and it shows by your incredibly strong reaction to something that you can never feel on your skin.
I’m so happy the UK is turning into an Arabic caliphate because you cunts deserve nothing less than that

  10. Teddy Ballgame says:

    Whoops Kiev is in Ukraine…
I still stand by my statement about Russian teams though, as I’m accustomed to reading similar articles about Zenit or Dynamo or the Russian FA.

To the stupid football followers who doesn’t know about the history of football. If you don’t know about the Dynamo Kiev legend once upon a time… You don’t even know where Kiev is. Today Barça football tiki taka and muscle memory techniques come from their old videos and tactics. So please search before write. “Beşiktaş FAN”
