Reading 3-3 Fulham – Premier League – 27th October 2012
Welsh international Hal Robson-Kanu netted a precious last-gasp equaliser for Reading at the Madejski on Saturday in a superb goal-tastic clash with Fulham which joyfully dinged and donged like all good ding-ding battles should.
Right, the goals – a cracker from Mikele Leigertwood on 26 minutes opened the scoring for the Royals, but second-half strikes from sub Bryan Ruiz and Chris Baird gave the Cottagers the lead. Garath McCleary levelled the scores for the home side on 85 minutes, only for the superb Dimitar Berbatov to put his side ahead again with just two minutes left to play. But then, Robson-Kanu bundled the ball home at the death to bring he goal-fest to a close.
The Royals stay in the bottom three, although there were a lot of positives for Brian McDermott to take from the performance while Martin Jol’s Fulham find themselves in the top six.
