Fulham 1-2 Tottenham Hotspur – Premier League – 4th December 2013

Soccer - Barclays Premier League - Fulham v Tottenham Hotspur - Craven Cottage

Is is too much to say that Lewis Holtby’s late winner at Craven Cottage saved Andre Villas-Boas’ job? Probably, but it’s sure to take some of the heat off the Spurs manager. Ashkan Dejagah had given new Fulham boss Rene Meulensteen hope of a maiden win but firstly Vlad Chiriches, with a fine volley and then Holtby, secured a precious victory for Spurs.

The north Londoners go back up to fifth while the Cottagers stay in the drop-zone.
