Not a bad little signing from Fulham here, with the news that the Cottagers have snapped up Lewis Holtby from the fringes of the Tottenham squad on a loan deal until the end of the season.
Holtby had been linked with a move back to the Bundesliga with Dortmund, but the move bottomed out for one reason or another, as his agent Markus Noack told Sky Sports News earlier:
“Fulham is a very well run club with an excellent manager Rene Meulensteen.
“The system and philosophy how Fulham play fits well with Lewis. He will play games in his favourite position.
“Then we’ll see how things are in the summer. A move to the Bundesliga was shattered by circumstances we couldn’t control.”
We’re hearing that there is a £1million loan fee too, which is nice.
