Tottenham continued their 100% start to the new Premier League season, courtesy of a 3-1 win over Fulham at Wembley.

The hosts impressed in the first-half but it took until just before half-time for the breakthrough, with Brazilian winger Lucas Moura scoring a peach of a curling goal from the edge of the box.

Fulham would draw level soon after the break, with Aleksandar Mitrovic heading home from close-range.

Summer-signing Jean Michael Seri impressed in midfield for the Cottagers but ultimately the Premier League new-boys couldn’t match their London rivals, with World Cup hero Kieran Trippier netting a magnificent free-kick to put his side 2-1 ahead.

Just three minutes after Trippier’s strike, Kane would finally break his August duck, with the striker directing a fine effort past Fabri in the Fulham goal.

Kane’s goal was his first in the Premier League in August, coming in his 15th appearance with his 49th top-flight shot in the month.

The game would end 3-1 to Spurs, as their strong start to the new season continues.

As for Fulham, the performances of Seri and Ryan Sessegnon will have impressed manager Slaviša Jokanović, who will no doubt need time to blend together his group of players.
