Dempsey Scores A Cracker, Gudjohnsen Literally Skies One vs Bolton (Videos)
By Chris Wright
Fulham ran out 3-0 winners over Bolton at Craven Cottage last night, thanks largely to a brace from Clint Dempsey (who overtook Steed Malbranque and Brian McBride as Fulham’s top Premier League goalscorer as a result) and a thumping header from Brede Hangeland, and absolutely no thanks at all to one Eidur Gudjohnsen – at least as far as this effort is concerned.

UPDATE: Hurrah, I’ve tracked down a video of Dempsey’s first goal of the evening – and a mighty fine goal it was too…
The fact that it equalled a record makes it even sweeter.

@Nick: That’s the clip I was going for originally, but the Premier League seem to hunt down videos of goals and highlights first.
Somehow Guddy’s shanker doesn’t appear to qualify as a ‘highlight’.
