BRISTOL CITY to beat Middlesbrough City are tough to beat at home and ‘Boro have no form right now. This looks like the most obvious ‘upset’ of the third round. Not that it would be a massive upset, mind.
SPURS vs READING to be goal CRAZY! You want goals? You got ’em with this fixture, which finished 6-4 in the league less than one week ago. I doubt we’ll see 10 goals at the Lane again. I go for a gentle 4-2 home win.
CHASETOWN’s FA Cup dream to end against Cardiff City Chasetown play in a league that no one has ever heard of. It’s called the BGB Southern Division One Midlands, or something like that. They beat Port Vale to reach the third round, but they won’t beat Cardiff. Sorry, no romance here.
ASTON VILLA to beat Man Utd Fergie is all about the Champions League and the Premier League this season, and Villa are in fine form. By that logic, I predict that Villa will reverse the result of last season’s corresponding fixture. 2-1 to the Villa is my shout.
