What you’re looking at here is Romanian second-tier side Viitorul Constanta’s new kit – a kit which, you may notice, features the face of scowling Romanian legend Gheorghe Hagi. Indeed he’s the very same scowling Romanian legend that actually owns the club itself.

The story goes that Hagi wanted a unique, custom strip for his boys to wear and approached Puma to see what they could offer. What came back was a pale blue shirt with Hagi’s beaming mush – I’m not sure I’ve ever seen him smile before – emblazoned across the front, with the graphic made up of binary code (1′s and 0′s) for reasons unbeknownst.

In the age of omnipresent meddling chairman, this really is a step into the abstract. That said, it’s farking awesome and I want one!
