In what we think is a rather nifty little flash of inspiration, Nike have redesigned the jerseys of five of Brazilian football’s top club sides in the yellow of the national team in a show of support for La Selecao as the 2014 World Cup begins to crown on the horizon.

Nike have redrafted the shirts of Corinthians, Internacional, Santos, Coritiba and Bahia using the famous yellow of Brazil, with all five clubs set to use the new togs as domestic third kits from now until the summer.

From the official blurb:

“Each jersey bears the legendary yellow of the national jersey alongside each club’s official colours, with Nike designers working with the clubs to bring the spirit of the famous yellow jersey to each team’s individual style. All five jerseys share the inscription “Nascido pra jogar Futebol” (“Born to play football”), a motto that has been used on all official jerseys for the Brasilian national team since 2010.”

Pretty bloody cool if you ask us, and Pato seems to like it too…
