  1. Stu says:

Paolo Monelli – Isn’t that Roberto Baggio

Carlton Palmer – Has he got a fan swithced on under his shirt?

Kevin Keelan – Is he pulling that face because he wishes he was in fact Kevin Keegan?

Peter Disztl – I remember him from my Mexico 86 book and never being able to say Magyarország in the playground as a 7 year old when doing swapsies.

Pep – He looks like he’s looking at someone in annoyance because they’re fucking about behind the photographer whilst he’s having his picture taken. Maybe Raul is throwing waterballoons at Zubizaretta or something.

  2. derekcantona says:

Yeah Stu, that must be robbie baggio!

  3. CRS says:

Is it just me or does young Guardiola look like current Yoann Gourcouff?

  4. Eeny says:

For a minute there I thought that said “Kevin Keegan”.

  5. Fat Nakago says:

@Stu: I think Kevin Keelan is pulling that face because he knows there is a loan move to the New England Tea Men in his very near future.

  6. Shrimper says:

Never knew jimmy hill was Amish….

  7. Jose M. says:

Yeah, I agree, Pep definitely looks gay.

  8. Adz says:

I once had a haircut not unlike Ballack’s – oh, the shame!!

  9. Graham says:

I can’t quite place his doppelganger, but I sure sense a Kevin Keelan Shit Lookalikes coming soon.

  10. Graham says:

Also, you would think they would have given Danny McGrain a do-over.

  11. Jarren says:

My god, this is the best one yet!

So many golden moments, so many images to fuel nightmares.

  12. Jared says:

@Graham: Maybe an ape? Also reckon that the one of Maldini could have a shit lookalike with Zac Efron in Hairspray

  13. Tony D says:

The Goycochea one is fake. His name is Goycochea not Goycoehea and the two keepers for Argentina in the 1990 World Cup sticker book was Nery Pumpido and Luis Islas.

  14. Geraldo says:

I was just about to compare Carlton Palmer with David Byrne, then I noticed that some other like-minded genius had beaten me to it!

  15. Andy YID 4 LIFE says:

Kevin Keelan is Anton Cugur (the himan in ‘No Country for Old Men’)
Jimmy Hill looks like a Monty Python cartoon
The Great Ossie Ardiles is obviously a close relation of Mr Bean
All i hear when i look at Hamish French is Duuuhhhh
and Goycochea is obviously a student of the David Hasselhof school of fashion

  16. Paolo Monelli says:

Paolo Monelli is here ; picasaweb.google.com/…/oEFDcTU1gIHmd7Oxz0NqLwwmEH…

  17. Paolo says:

That is most certainly NOT Paolo Monelli. Thi is.
