Alberto Aquilani makes Liverpool debut in 15-minute cameo for reserves (with photos)

AA played just 15 minutes of Liverpool reserves’ 2-0 win against Sunderland at Prenton Park on Wednesday evening. Pies has the photos of the Italian’s debut, which was attended by co-owner George Gillett:

    yay, now they can put him behind torres and put gerrard back in the engine room instead of lucas (who isn’t as terrible as everyone says but still not good enough)

    i question his vision on the field. his eyes are ridiculously close together. how can he possibly see anything around him. peripheral vision anyone?

    The expectation placed on this player is unbelievable. I think it would be safe to say that this is the most expectation placed on a newly transferred player in… the last ten years.

    Liverpool fans are making him out to be Zidane or something.

    What if.. just what if this guy isn’t as good as you all think?
