After nabbing themselves a late 2-1 victory in the first-leg, Manchester City did the business at the Etihad last night and completed a routine routing of Porto by banging four more unanswered goals past Helton to knock out the Europa League holders and take their place in the draw for the last 16.
Sergio Aguero scored after just 19 seconds then hit the bar with a 25-yard lob shortly after, before Edin Dzeko, David Silva and David Pizarro added three more inside the last 15 minutes to sure up the victory following Porto centre-half Rolando’s 76th-minute dismissal for a second yellow card.
Porto are also said to be preparing an official complaint about chants aimed at Hulk during the game which the Portuguese club are claiming were ‘unsporting’. The chant in question? City fans gleefully sang, “You’re not incredible, you’re not incredible!” as the woeful Brazilian shithouse got gradually more and more pissy as the night wore on. This coming from a club with a pending UEFA investigation hanging over it’s head due to alleged monkey chanting in the first leg.
