Crystal Palace 0-2 Manchester City – Premier League – 28th April 2014
With Chelsea beating Liverpool earlier in the day, Manchester City were given the chance to move to within three points of the league leaders and the Citizens grabbed that chance with both hands, winning 2-0 against Crystal Palace.
Yaya Touré was, once again, the star man for the Citizens, setting up Edin Dzeko for City’s first goal before netting a superb solo effort just before the break. The Eagles struggled to match their Mancunian opponents and the visitors were well worth the win which sees them go three points behind Liverpool, with a game in hand and a superior goal difference.
