Robin Van Persie Falls Into Camera Pit Of Doom vs QPR, Badly Bruises His Hip (Video)

Shortly before Rafael almost tore the net from its moorings with a sweet-as-you-like drive to open the scoring against QPR yesterday, Robin van Persie suffered one of the strangest on-pitch injuries we’ve seen in quite a while when he fell down one of the camera pits behind the goal at Loftus Road and almost tore one of his kidneys out…



The official line is that RvP – who was substituted off with his injury – badly bruised his hip after falling on a camera stand and, while the Dutchman will undoubtedly be a little bit tender this morning, Sir Alex is “hopeful” that he’ll be fit for the Real Madrid game on Tues.
