17 Cracking Photos Of Roy Keane Looking Slightly Uncomfortable Everywhere

By Chris Wright

In what sounds like a pitch for a terrible, terrible sitcom, the Republic of Ireland are all but set to appoint Martin O’Neill as their new manager with Roy Keane brought in as his assistant.

This prompted us to have a flick through the archives for photos of ‘Keano’ playing in the emerald green of Eire and we suddenly came to a stark and vivid realisation: the man has the uncanny knack of looking ever-so-slightly uncomfortable almost everywhere that isn’t either, a) when knee-deep in a knee-high tackle and/or, b) when finding solace in the wordless kinship of his dogs.

Only the dogs truly understand.

Roy has done a lot of great volunteer work Irish Guide Dogs for the Blind which he doesn’t get enough credit for.

  7. Wilson says:

Two things Keane was entirely comfortable doing, one was screaming at his team mates and two was tackling that was often way too aggressive (but fucking effective, I’d give him that).
