Forgettable game, memorable winner. Paul Scholes kept his head in added time at Eastlands to win a vital three points for United. Scholes doesn’t score many headers, but he knew exactly what he was doing in directing the ball past the left hand of a desperate Shay Given. With Spurs doing United a huge favour later in the day, United know the title race is back on – especially as Chelsea are yet to visit Anfield. Football, bloody hell.
