Manchester City 3-1 Newcastle
The Sven-olution continues at Eastlands as Elano dictates victory over Newcastle.
Portsmouth 7-4 Reading
Did I mistype that? Bizarre game of football. A Benjani hat-trick was the difference between the two teams in the end.
Sunderland 1-2 Blackburn
Roque Santa Cruz scored one and set one up to seal the win for Blackburn.
West Ham 0-1 Arsenal
Mark Noble’s tackle on Alex Hleb summarises how pretty this game was, but the Gunners still sneaked the points.
Wigan 0-1 Liverpool
Yossi Benayoun’s goal saved Rafa Benitez from getting too much more stick in the short-term at least.
Everton 2-0 Middlesbrough
Goals from Joleon Lescott and Steven Pienaar helped Everton to victory.
