Shocking Pink Vandals Target Oxford United Sculpture

By Chris Wright

Always nice to see such lovingly sculpted balls

The £25,000 ox sculpture that stands outside Oxford United’s Kassam Stadium has been besmirched!

The BBC are reporting that vandals covered the bovinous (probably not a word) statue in bright pink paint late last night, with the words ‘GOTTA LOVE ART’ then daubed onto the marble plinth underneath.

After ‘steaking’ out the scene, police are now appealing for witnesses…

Sorry.

    @Kevin Barry
    unless oxford united become a european giant or spend a ton of cash on players they don’t need, you’re not gonna be on the news mate

  4. Kevin Barry says:

    no chance against the giants of the game!
    the big clubs are allowed to spend what they don’t have and run up massive debts!
    like to see the top managers cope with f’all and see how they fare!
    too many foreign owners who don’t know what they are doing are spoiling the game, luckily Oxfords foreign owner left………….after he got his hotel

  5. Jo says:

    Dear Sean BCFC, your comment is a contradiction in terms! We ARE on the news. Think about it.
