Photos: Scotland 1-0 Czech Republic – Craig Levein Off To Winning Start
By Ollie Irish
An excellent start to Craig Levein’s spell in the Scotland hotseat, with Celtic forward Scott Brown scoring the only goal of a lively game at Hampden. The Czechs had plenty of possession and some decent chances, but Sunderland stopper Craig Gordon was in one of those “you shall not pass!” moods. The next time these sides meet will be in a Euro 2012 qualifier, when you can be sure the Czechs won’t be so forgiving.
Remarkably, it was Scotland’s first win in a Hampden friendly for 14 years!
