Harrogate Railway 3-4 Guiseley: Danny Forrest Scores 92nd-Minute Winner From Halfway Line (Video)

By Chris Wright

With Railway Harrogate having just scored a dramatic late equaliser on the 90-minute mark to level the score at three apiece in their West Riding County Cup tie against Guiseley last night, it looked for all the world like the game was heading to extra time.

Step forward Guiseley striker Danny Forrest, who duly walloped the ball home straight from the restart to score a 92nd-minute winner for his side and, more importantly, to spare everyone at Station View from having to spend another 30+ minutes out in the freezing cold on a teeth-chattering winter’s night in North Yorkshire…

Hero. Absolute hero.

Look at those teammate defenders, they’re like: ‘No way that just happened mate!?!’

Freezing cold weather, hard fought match, mud everywhere. 90th and 92nd minute dramatics… sounds like a classic!
