In which, during Borussia Monchengladbach’s DFB Pokal quarter-final tie with Hertha Berlin on Wednesday night, Monchengladbach striker Igor De Camargo goes down like a big cheating sack of spuds to get Hertha centre-half Roman Hubnik sent off…

Is he alright? Somebody better call Alessandro Del Piero, stat!

The crowning glacé cherry on the dog turd of fate? After over 100 minutes of goalless toil, De Camargo’s feigned aneurysm won/conned his side a breakthrough penalty in extra-time – with Monchengladbach going on to win 2-0 and book themselves a place in the last four.

What. A. Bastard.

The Berlin players should have tried to brake this guys legs after this. T**t!

Cheats prosper, a red card and a penalty wins the game. I bet the red card was upheld too as there was more contact that Barton did and they upheld that despite the officials guessing what happened as they didnt dee it.

Hubnik is an idiot for giving De Camargo the opportunity in the first place.

  4. Tinez says:

You should watch the ESPN highlights where the commentator said he should ‘surely see red for that’ and that de carmago ‘may have gone down a little easily, but you simply can’t do it’. Absolutely disgraceful comments. This would make Sergio Buckets proud.

  5. MMsteezy says:

Please Stevesy its despicable that you are thinking like that, ya it was dumb that he went up and made physical contact with him but cmon you can’t just go down like that. Just another example of how cheaters in soccer prosper because the refs are too afraid to do the right thing by booking the player that dove. Because sadly this is seen as the right call nowadays and fans are becoming increasingly dumber and supportive of cheating in the not so beautiful anymore game

    Chris…. there was contact… lol
