Definitely one for those of a certain vintage now, with a young Emile (or is it pronounced ‘Emily’?) Heskey – now of the Newcastle United Jets, then of the Leicester Boys’ Brigade – making an appearance alongside Grotbags on the ‘Rod Hull and Emu Show’ way back in the primordial mists of 1989…

   It is a little known fact that Leicester scouts were present during the filming of the show, which marked the beginning of Mr. Heskey’s stellar career.
