I don’t exactly know the rule here, but it’s obviously a foul to touch a free kick twice in a row. Wouldn’t a potential booking for kicking the ball out of bounds with a second touch have been preferable to allowing the other team to break? My point being, isn’t that two mistakes on one free kick?
