Strangest Red Card You’ll See Today: Roda JC Captain Sent-Off After Two Players’ Feet Stick Together! (Video)
By Chris Wright
This is, without doubt, the weirdest red card you’ll see today – hell, it might even be the weirdest you see this week.
We join the action in the Dutch Cup game between Ado Den Haag and Roda JC, with Roda captain Sanharib Malki receiving marching orders after his boot mysteriously latched onto that of his opponent and clung on for dear life…
Obviously the referee assumed Malki had lashed out at the Den Haag player as it didn’t even cross his mind that he was wearing the world’s most adhesive football boots.
Bizarre.

It seem like most of the refs don’t actually see what has happened half the time, and the others react to the crowd.
They seem to be getting worse.
No Dutch Cup game, but competition, last saturday. Especially watch the reaction from the ADO coaches and reserves. That probably triggered de referee…
@Jack Dean: She’s even getting into foreign matches now eh!
Every time I watch Norwich on TV I literally count the seconds until she appears. SHE ALWAYS DOES.
“Will Norwich be able to cook up a reply in the 2nd half”
“Some of these Norwich players look to be at boiling point”
“Playing this formation is a recipe for disaster”
“If you can’t stand the pressure, get out of the kitchen”
…and so on.
