Bastia Striker Brandao Headbutts Thiago Motta In Tunnel Then Runs Off Like A Big Wimp! (Video)

By Chris Wright

Trouble has been brewing over in Ligue 1 this evening, with reports that PSG midfielder Thiago Motta was head-butted during an altercation in the tunnel after his side’s 2-0 victory over Bastia.

CCTV footage of the incident has since emerged which appears to incriminate Brandao of two things: 1) head-butting Motta like a coward and then, 2) running away like a massive wimp…

It might not have looked like much but the blow was obviously sturdy enough to bloody Motta up a bit, leaving the Italian international with a broken nose if news reports are to be believed…

This will not be the last Mr Brandao hears of this, we suspect.

  1. Jarren says:

PSG want him banned for life.

    That’s a bit much TBH, but I’d condone a year-long unpaid ban.

Hell, it makes Suarez’s nibbles look like a peck on the cheek.

  2. Bob says:

@Jarren. Not really. This is an example of a cheap shot off the pitch, basically just assault.

Suarez’s bite(s) were on the pitch and in 2 cases trying to cheat the ref and gain an advantage.

Plus you don’t need a rabies test after a headbutt.

  3. NN4 says:

@Bob so Suarez bit a player on the pitch, which could be explained as tensions running high, but assault off the pitch is “just assault?” How does assault on its own make it better?
The man is a coward, evidences by his running off after the hit, and is obviously not a victim of anything.
