Safe to say that things got a bit emotional during Borussia Dortmund’s final game of the season which, as well as being Jurgen Klopp’s last game in charge, also saw long-serving captain Sebastian Kehl bow out.

Dortmund tussled to a 3-2 victory over Werder Bremen, but the match itself very much felt like a sideshow.

In a show of gratitude to their outgoing coach, the BVB fans performed one last tifo and a magnificent display it truly was…

Elsewhere, the Westfalenstadion was peppered with heart-felt tributes to Klopp, the man who transformed the club’s fortunes and led them to two Bundesliga titles, a German cup and a Champions League Final in his seven-season tenure…

Bless. It all got a bit much for the man of the hour by the end of the afternoon…

And, as a bit of bonus, here’s Kloppo’s brilliant response to a reporter asking him if he’s learning Spanish…

To be fair, if personal experience is anything to go by, that one particular phrase can get you an awful long way.
