With a one and a two and a splutter and a wheeze…

Marco Veratti has spent this past season playing more successful passes than any other midfielder in Europe on his way to a domestic treble with PSG. He also has the kind of alluring azure eyes that have drawn many a beguiled sailor to their deaths upon the rocks of Sirenum scopuli over the years.

He is, however, totally and utterly pap at beat-boxing, as his cringe-inducing attempt during a recent appearance on a French television show duly proved…

In fact, Verratti’s ‘performance’ sounded more like a punctured bouncy castle slowly deflating more than anything else…
