You may be labouring under the illusion that the penalty shoot-out between Germany and Italy couldn’t possibly get any more chaotic.

Well, German media artist Kurt Prödel (@KurtProedel) is here to prove that that isn’t strictly so.

In fact, for the purposes of whimsy, Prödel has taken the time to splice all nine of Germany’s penalties into the same clip of footage, just to emphasise the sheer spectrum of spot-kicks on show.

In the interests of balance and equality, Prödel also did the same for Italy’s penalties – the resulting snippet once again confirming, if nothing else, that Simone Zaza’s attempt was and is still completely sodding laughable.

What a berk.

    Not often that I say this, but the Youtube comments on Zaza’s penalty pretty much sum his effort up.

    Truly shocking that he tried such shite while on national duty.
