In scoring for Valencia in their 1-1 draw against Celta Vigo in midweek, Michy Batshuayi became the proud owner of a rather remarkable record.
The on-loan Chelsea striker is now the first man this century to have found the back of the net in the Premier League, Ligue 1, Bundesliga and, latterly, La Liga.
While not a ‘Top 5’ league, you can also add the Belgian Pro League to that list as well, with Batshuayi first opening his senior account on home soil with Standard Liege back in 2011/12.

Goals for Marseille (in 2014/15), Chelsea (2016/17), Borussia Dortmund (2017/18) and Valencia have come since, meaning that now all he needs is a loan move to Serie A to complete the full set.
Indeed, that would nudge him ahead of Zlatan Ibrahimovic in the pan-Europe running, with the Swede having plundered goals in Serie A, La Liga, Ligue 1 and the Premier League, as well as the Eredivisie.
