The man you seen before you is Habib Habibou. He used to play for PSG, then Royal Charleroi, Tubize and Steaua Bucureşti… then Zulte Waregem, Leeds United, Gent, Rennes, Gaziantepspor, Lens and Qatar SC before ending up at Israeli side Maccabi Petah Tikva.

Indeed, the 31-year-old Central African Republic international (one cap) got his name on the scoresheet for Petah Tikva at the weekend, notching the only goal in a 1-0 away win over fellow mid-tablers Maccabi Netanya.

The goal itself, coming in the 87th minute, was something of an oddity being as Habibou was actually tending to an injured teammate mere nano-seconds before he pounced to tap home from close range…

Talk about scoring an injury-time winner! Whether or not Habibou stooped to deceitful gamesmanship is arguable, but you have to give him top marks for opportunism.

What’s more, the crafty tap-in was actually enough to bump Petah Tikva above Netanya in the Israeli Premier League standings on goal difference.
